An Addition
18/3/02 00:42Well. I did end up writing more about that article than I thought, and it gave me four story ideas. And another essay idea. Happy. However, I am not going to post it all here. It's long and complicated, and (I think) can be better understood in the context of the discussion from which it sprang.
Therefore, I am providing a link to said discussion, at Baxil's website, tomorrowlands.org, which is a very interesting website overall, and has fascinating message boards which I consider to be the best I've seen so far on the internet.
I cannot provide a link to my individual post, as the message boards don't let you do that, but if you want to read it, it's currently on page two of the discussion, at the bottom, with my name on the sidebar (the same name as on my livejournal, not my 'real life name.' Although I like that one just as much).
Oddly, at this moment I am getting some kind of deja vu. I don't know why; I feel as if I've already written about this before, and added in the same links.

Re: discussion and Transmet
19/3/02 09:00 (UTC)Oddly enough, Transmet reminds me of Jack, another recent webcomic addiction, which (like Transmet) I am not so sure is 'good' for me to be reading, but just when I'm about to quit from the "ick", there's something absolutely pure shining through. I have almost cried at several issues. It's like some of Ada's Dante comic and Transmet kind of stuck together, and very, very well-written. Why did I put this here, other than the fact that it reminded me of Transmet? Secretly, I'm trying to get someone else I know to read it so I can talk past the "ick."
Other thoughts: I'm glad you found the tomorrowlands discussion interesting. Keep reading. Most of the other discussions are like that or become that way eventually.
