Hope the move wasn't too painful and that the new place is much better than the last! The last place sounded pretty bad o.o

If it's an apartment, I definately hope they have poured concrete for every unit instead of just wood. That's why the last apartment I had sucked so bad. Things worked, but you could hear everything and the floor sagged a bit when you walked.

The floor is a little saggy but not too bad. It's a 3-story multi-family house so I guess the top floors would have to be wood...
