So. Not only did I go to the Acme and get massive quantities of fresh fruit yesterday (just in time, too: the weather's turned humid just today, and fruits and veggies will be all I will want to eat for the next few months), but I went to Barnes and Noble and got Stephen King's On Writing. Good, good stuff. This is the man who wrote the Dark Tower books talking about how and why he does it.
I also went to the New Books Shelf in Canaday.
Some of you who know me well will know that this is an Event. I rarely go to the New Books Shelf, because every time I do, I find at least one thing I want to read.
So, I found 12. Some for fun (The Literary Werewolf and two books on the Plague), some for possible thesis-ing and general cities interest, and a few oddities.
12 books. Bliss. I've rediscovered novel reading again, along with the bittersweet knowledge that I'll never get to read everything I want to in my lifetime.
