1. What's on your bedside table?
Um, I don't have a bedside table in the dorm room. So on my desk now is....one computer keyboard and monitor; one stuffed bat on top of said monitor; one black gel pen; a phone; a printer, a notebook with letters and brochures stuffed into it; three post-it notes; a rock, an empty water bottle, and the remote control for my stero.
2. What's the geekiest part of your music collection?
Okay. This may shock some of you, but I listen to Yanni. Just one Yanni tape, mind you, In My Time. I hate all his other stuff.
3. What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night?
Frozen berries, if there are any, or frozen peas. Really. I like frozen foods.
4. What is your secret guaranteed weeping film?
Um, I dunno? I have a few guaranteed weeping books. And a few guaranteed weeping ideas.
5. If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
If I could have plastic surgery, that would also imply that I had lots of money. If I had lots of money, I would do other stuff with it. Send sister to college. Donate to church. Help out friends. That kind of stuff.
6. Do you have a completely irrational fear?
I do not like rollercoasters in the dark, despite the fact that I love rollercoasters and the dark seperately.
I also do not like fire, but as I know exactly where that fear came from, I don't think it counts as completely irrational.
7. What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
I itch at my face.
8. Do you ever have to beg?
Usually only in fun. It points to a problem if I need to beg - this implies I can't talk rationally with the person I would be begging of, and I don't know of any friends who would let me debase myself in that way, even if I would let myself.
9. Do you have too many love interests?
Nope, just one. :)
10. Do you know anyone famous?
My grandfather went to elementary school with Ronald Regan and my mom's friend was the presidental secretary for three different administrations. Um, and my grandma almost went to the Olympics in 1930. I don't think any of these really count.
11. Describe your bed:
Dorm Bed. Enough said.
12. Spontaneous or plan?
Both. I hate planning long-term unless it's stuff like novel plotting. I don't always like complete spontaneity, either. About a day's notice or two is what I like.
13. Who should play you in a movie about your life?
Um, I dunno? Me? I like theater, and actually can act...really....
14. Do you know how to play poker?
I used to know...it's been a few years. I like rummy better.
15. What do you carry with you at all times?
Keys with ID card and meal card.
16. How do you drive?
Carefully.
17. What do you miss most about being little?
The feeling that I could trust my parents.
18. Are you happy with your given name?
I love it. It fits me in almost every way possible.
19. What color is your bedroom?
At home, it's bright purple. Dorm rooms are generally cream-colored with a variety of posters.
20. What was the last song you were listening to?
Something on that sappy night radio show. Wasn't paying attention.
21. Have you ever been in a school play?
Yes. Um, "The Good Old 1890's," in 4th grade. I was a suffragette and danced about in the most floofy purple dress and sang about Elizabeth Cady Stanton.
22. Have you ever been in love?
Yupyup. :) *huggles Arc*
23. Do you like yourself and believe in yourself?
I like myself now in general (this was not the case for quite a while), and am trying to work on correcting my failings as I see them. Believing in myself...that's a difficult question...I believe in what I do and I believe that I have the potential to be who I eventually want to become.
Keep in mind that I also think that good self-esteem is a.) essential to one's survival or b.)a load of psychologist bull, depending on the day.
24. Have you ever done any illegal drugs?
No. I would probably do acid if it wasn't addictive and didn't have the potential to split my mind into tiny atoms of memory, and make me a raving maniac, just to see what colors sound like, but it's not, so I won't. My brain is a wierd enough place without me putting stuff into it to make it moreso.
25. Do you think you're cute?
Um, I like my hair and eyes.
26. Do you consider yourself to be a nice person?
I'd like to think so. Then again, I'd like to see the person who'd answer this question in the negative. I am prone to nasty snaps of anger, and then I am definitely not nice.
27. Do you spend more time with your girlfriend/boyfriend, or your friends?
This question does not apply, as my boyfriend is also a friend, and I probably spend about equal amounts of time with each in the long run. They keep me sane. Good people.
