Hi, everyone. I actually got one of my perenially-postponed projects done tonight. The Petshop of Horrors picture I've been computer-coloring for, oh, the past five months or so is now up on the art page. I'm quite happy with it. I wish the image-quality of the original manga scan had been better, but I made do. Perhaps I will eventually get the manga and do my own scan.

I did a little research before posting the picture and found out that the creature in question is called 'p-chan', and is actually a male exotic songbird (!) in animal form. Sadly, his owner is one of those ones that can't seem to stick to the contract terms...

Beautifully colored, especially the wings. I suggest darkening the top portions of his headpiece a little so that there is a clear boundary between it and the plants in the background. If you want to use my copy of Vol. 2 of the Pet Shop manga, be my guest.
