Treehouse

If I ever live anywhere where I can build a treehouse, I think this would be a great, cheap treehouse to build. It's buildable for about $100, looks awesome, and would be great to hang out in and read, which is what I kind of always planned on doing with a treehouse anyway.

I bet we could do that for well under $100, if you don't mind it taking a while to scrounge materials. 2x4s are pretty easy to hunt up.

Looks easy to make and functional. I can just imagine the verdant, sun-dappled light filtering into it and the gentle caress of wind-blown leaves.

Did you see the New York Times article about the builder? It's rather wonderful, mostly due to the tone of the reporter.
