Does anyone out there have a copy of Hansen & Quinn's "Greek: An Intensive Course" that they don't want, that I could buy off them cheap, or make some other kind of arrangement?

Tried to get it from the library, but the Boston Public Library has it for in-house use only (!?), and the Minuteman Library System keeps referring me to the Complete Third Season of Veronica Mars on DVD instead (??!).

I can lend you mine, if you don't get a better offer. I'm not sure I want it going out of the state, though. How long do you need it for?

Are you going to study Ancient Greek?

I have one if you want it! I'd prefer it be on a lending basis rather than a transfer of ownership, as I may need it when I formally pick up Greek again one of these fine years. But if you're okay with borrowing one long-term, mine is available.

I hate the book, personally, but as I said, it may prove useful someday.

Have you tried calling or e-mailing said second library? As libraries, we often have computer systems that suck. Talk to a human being and you'll likely get better results in this case.
