So about 2 hours after I posted the last post and went to bed, I woke up in a lot of pain. I went well shit, those antibiotics should probably have lasted for more than 2 hours, and we went to the ER. I was kind of out of my head with pain for a while, which was scary, and then they admitted me and gave me morphine (which is a fucking wonder drug and which made me think of led zepplin songs in a dazed state) and also a CAT scan. Part of my brain registered these as "wow this is serious!" and part of my brain was like, "your job is to stay as still and quiet as possible and try to rest; anything else is not your problem." More news over at rax's journal.. Right now I am eating and then will probably go back to bed for about a week so will not really be replying to things. Though I am reading everything in my lucid moments and thank you all for your love and support.

Some people have been asking if they can help. If you are local to indiana then the answer is "yes. Please buy some large crickets for my gecko and volunteer to feed her for about a week or two." If you want to do this please comment below and rax or I will get in touch with you.
Other people there will probably be ways you can help later.

Now to call family on overseas vacation.

Wow, that would be really useful, thank you. I can make you bread or cookies later, as well as pay for lizard food of course. I do not know if the pet store would be open today but what I would need is:
- 1 bag large crickets
- 1 small tub "superworms"
- 1 waterless pet shampoo (for me, I haven't washed my hair in a week and can't get water into my ears. It's kinda gross. :( )

I don't know because the blood culture results have not come back to me yet. The main thing they were concerned about was if my mastoids were or were about to get infected, which is really serious bad. And also that I have a history of pretty bad serious earaches. I am guessing after the shot and two giant pills only held me for about 3 hours and they should have held, like, overnight, that that along with other symptoms was a sign to do a medical power-up as it were.

I'm glad you got the good drugs. I'm sorry I couldn't chat yesterday when you called, but I had literally just gotten on a Metro into the District and between the noise of the train itself and all of the people on it, I could hear maybe 1/3 of what you were saying. Plus, you sounded sleepy. So you should sleep.
