Point the first:
Going to a fancy steakhouse in victorian-inspired steampunk gothwear and ordering vegan food made me nervous, but Eastern Standard took great care of [livejournal.com profile] ab3nd and me, and our really weird requests. I recommend them if you are in among a group of meat-lovers that really want to go to an upscale steakhouse. They won't look down on you for being the person ordering the vegetable plate. (You'll pay, mind you, but you'd pay for a steak too, and that was the best balsamic I've ever had).

Point the second:
Dancing until 2 am--something I would say that I don't do often enough, but probably it's good that I don't do it too often. Note to self: get awesome shoes that are also flat for second choice of clubbing footwear.

Point the third:
http://www.sharkbanana.com/ - Sign up now to be informed when Sharkbananas are available for purchase! It's a banana! It's a shark! I'm hoping they'll start producing dogoranges next.

Was it steampunk weekend and I didn't know? We spent Sat night and Sunday at steampunk events.

I think I agree with you.

We spent Sat night with Thomas of http://www.bruteforceleather.com and friends. He was hosting a steampunk building party, but we only made it for dinner out at a pub.

Sunday was a Museum crawl in DC. Photos here: http://kaypendragon.livejournal.com/169010.html
