I am going to try to get local bookstores in Cambridge and Boston to carry it; one of the other authors is from around the greater Boston area and I am going to try and do a mini-reading somewhere.

Pardon my cluelessness, but what is this all about? When did you mention the book before?

I mentioned it before most likely in the spring of last year, or possibly the winter of the year before, which is when the story I have in it got accepted, so not remembering is likely.

The Field Guide to Surreal Botany is an anthology of short stories about imaginary plants, but it's set up to be a field guide--something you use when you're out hiking, maybe. "Look, there's the copperwolf plant! According to this book, it was discovered in 1890 by a Mr. Oliver Whimsy, who was then eaten by a bear. Its berries are supposed to taste like..." and so forth. It's fun!

So I've got a plant in the book--the Ozymandias-plant. I will post more info. when I have it.
