Moving, I think. Again.
8/8/06 22:33I've been planning the Pepper Picnic for August since February; it was to be a lovely litte gathering of friends from as far away and as near as I thought might decently be able to make it, as well as a housewarming. But now I think I am moving, again, at the end of the month. All plans will be put on hold until I know where I am living.
Suffice it to say that my current landlord does not understand that getting the housing and health inspectors into your house because no problems have been fixed for six months is a problem, and I'd rather live with good roommates and a 50% chance of another bad landlord than a 100% chance of a bad landlord where I currently am.
Still no bedroom door or correctly working stove.
Though I have no idea how I am supposed to pay another security deposit again. I hope I get the one I put down originally back or I will strangle something.
Anyone know anyone who has a three-bedroom apartment in Somerville or Cambridge?
I'm really sick of this.
Plus I feel like I'm giving up when I'm clearly in the right, and that's taking a lot of self-confidence out of me. But it takes less energy to move than to fight an expensive and prolonged legal battle for an ideal.
I'd still rather fight for the ideal.

At least one of my roommates has said they'll try and find another place with me. Now to get in touch with the one in Nevada.
