What have I been doing?

1.) Writing. 1 rejection; 1 submitted and pending a decision, and now I delve into research for the C.S. Lewis essay. And then go back to metrical poetry and the Fay Novel.

2.) Battling my landlord. More once this becomes conclusive (ie, I sign a new lease or get evicted and/or go to court).

3.) Being sick. I caught whatever my boss had. Swallowing is difficult.

4.) Reading vast quantities of information. A little bit of computer programming (BASIC, my first love), a few essays, many newspapers (the alternative weekly paper The Weekly Dig, though racous and somewhat more prone to use profanity than I'd like, has brilliant writing, design, copyediting (!) and articles of interest to Boston urban dwellers and urban planners), and flipping through Yeats' collected poems desperately trying to find a poem of his I know exists but cannot find.

5.) Starting a plan to try and visit my sister and Thrud, both in Europe next spring. Tentative itinerary: Belgium, Italy (Venice at last, if I can), and possibly Denmark.

Which one are you looking for?

It's one of the later ones; I believe it contains a line about a shield and possibly Cuchulain. Although that could describe about half the poems of that period.

Hence my difficulty.

I hope things calm for you, very soon, and that you'll be feeling right as rain as well. If the throat is sore, try honey and hot lemon, that typically helps with such things.
