So, I looked up from writing my Shakespeare essay, like a good Mawrter. I thought, "oh, what a nice sound of dripping water."
"Wait a minute...dripping water?"
I look over and see that there is already a sizeable puddle on my windowsill. The roof is leaking. The windows are leaking. Currently, there are three drips from the ceiling, and eight from near the windows.
I always forget the disadvantages to living in a hundred-year old dorm.
We have put a towel down to keep the drips from hitting the windowsill and spray off in a two-foot radius.
Remembering Sai's stories of Freshman year, I went and found my HA. She can't tell if the rest of the ceiling is wet or just 'cold'.
I called Facilities Services and got the answering machine. My HA called Public Safety. Apparently, when they drop by to take care of the problems in the room next door, which are worse, they'll also drop by here.
Joy.
Back to try and work on the Shakespeare paper. Again.
