If you happen to meet my parents around town, please don't mention to them that I have this journal. They probably wouldn't know where to look for it, but I need to have a forum where I can vent and air ideas that they don't want their daughter to express. And I don't want them asking me, "who's so-and-so from your friends list?" Because that just gets too complicated.
I want this journal to be publically accessible for the most part, since I've met many interesting and nifty people via it, and because that's part of what keeps me writing this thing. Any journal I keep for myself dies in a matter of months--they always have--and any journal I would keep for trusted friends alone would be overly exclusive (not to mention redundant, a good quarter of my friends list being my current Boston housemates).
And I don't want to bother going back and trying to friends-lock, retroactively, the posts where I complain about my family.
So.
Thanks.
Cat update: still not dead. Dammit. I wish she'd just go peacefully in her sleep.

25/11/05 21:50 (UTC)Sorry 'bout the cat sweetie. And sorry I have to work tomorrow so I couldn't be in town longer.
And I'm not home enough to see your parents, nor would I ever mention anything to them about you.
