Eventually I'll write about last weekend's Pratchett talk and dinner with gaudior, rush-that-speaks, weirdquark, and nineweaving, or about the giant origami crane I made, or about the project I have in the works to draw a trailer for the nonexistant movie of the (extant, and very good) Kushiel series by Jacqueline Carey, or about the good books I have been accidentally happening across lately, or about how it's suddenly turned to soup-weather (finally cold enough to want to eat the stuff for dinner), or about why fall is always my favorite time of year, or about how I can't believe I'm reading literary criticism on Post-Modernism for fun, or perhaps write some Shakespeare dribble or Harry Potter slash, or talk about taiji and what effect it has had on my body to go back to it seriously after not doing much for a year or so, or about how nice it was to meet [livejournal.com profile] irene_adler and how she makes the best bean soup, or about how Babylon 5 can tear me away from my own writing and why that's important.

But right now I'd just like to say that I don't like the US Postal service very much, because it didn't forward on one of my student loan bills for this month and I'll probably get slapped with a hefty late charge.

I'm signing up for automatic pay, but this is why I hate moving every three months. (I also couldn't find what box I put my stamps in when I went to go send in the form).

A friend of mine here moved through series of houses at one point, ending in the house she had begun in. Seriously. Her mail was being forwarded in endless circles for a while. :-)

Keep a book of stamps in your wallet. Then you'll always have one when you need it.

I didn't know you liked Babylon 5? You realize I had the entire thing on tape, and a good chunk on DVD before I graduated BMC? You could have come over and watched (offer's still good if you want to come down to DE).

Absolutely. And if you're all finished with B5 by then, I'll get you hooked on Space: Above and Beyond. Though Babylon 5 is a show that lends itself to repeated viewings.

Why are you trying to find a place to live?

If you ever need stamps & can't find them, you could always ask one of your housemates. (I have stamps. My probability of being able to find them at any given time is, um, less than 100%, but I'm willing to look. *grin*)
