Well.
I've decided it.

I'm sick of living a lie and pretending to be happy when I'm not; I'm sick of having to listen for every little footstep on the stair and quickly find some more respectable message board to bring up on screen; I'm sick of laughing and pretending everything is ok when I'm being ripped apart inside.

I'm going to tell my parents I'm a dragon, dammit. I don't know how or when, but it will be done.

I didn't comment on the Tlands thread because I'm not out to my parent people - but I'm not out to them about a lot of things; being poly, having multiple tattoos, having given other people tattoos, having participated in recreational pharmecuticals of various kinds, many particulars of the life I've been leading, etc. etc. Of course, most of this happened since I moved out of the house; if you're still living with your parent people, I can certainly understand that it's a much more difficult issue to sit on and avoid. :/ Best of luck to you, dear, and *hugs* in advance.
