Advice, anyone?
1/12/01 12:57I've been thinking of telling my parents of my draconity. Seriously thinking. For about the past six months.
For those of you not familiar with the inner labyrinths of my brain (be very, very happy), if I think about an idea for this long, and this seriously, it means that I may be on the verge of actually taking some action based on that thought.
Does anyone out there have any ideas? Thoughts? Comments? Think I'm completely nuts to even think about this? Any commentary would be greatly appreciated, especially if you have one of those "this turned out relatively well for me" stories.
Thanks.

I don't really have a 'success' story when it comes to draconity, just that I've told my step-mom about the whole ordeal and she doesn't have a problem with it. I'm just as well off not telling my dad, though.
Now, telling my parents about my new faith and Christianity and stuff.. that was *really* tough. But so far so good.....
Basically, just go with what you feel is right. They may not accept what you believe, but ask them to at least respect what you believe, and not belittle it. *nodnods*
Thank You
