I have finished Jasper Fforde's The Eyre Affair and Lost in a Good Book, both of which are superb.

Crowd: "When is the winter of our discontent?"
Impromptu Shakespearean: "Now is the winter of our discotent."

Ah, yes. The Bard done like Rocky Horror. All this and more in novels where the characters have names as strange as their author's. On purpose.
And it has a library better, in my opinon, than even Pratchett's idea of Library Space.

Thanks, Lotusblosm. I recommend these to all of you.

Ghost and Phoenix, I sent you a small stuffed cat.
Gaudior and Rush-That-Speaks, I sent you a book I would like signed. I will call tomorrow.

Today I had a job interview where they wanted me to drive three hours there and back again every day. I said, "no thank you."

Do you own Fforde's books?
I was looking for them at the Library the other day and did not see them.

I'm home until June 25, and you had my phone # right. I don't know Sky's right now. She is in Binghamton for the summer, I believe, unless she went to London and didn't tell me. I'll hunt for the address and phone.
Are you free next weekend? Wanna stop by for tea sometime?

By the time you drove three hours, you might as well have kept driving to oh, say, Boston. . .

Both my parents have had two-hour each way commutes at various times. They don't recommend it highly. . .

Good luck on the continued quest.

And if you're going to be driving to work in oh, say, Boston, you might as well just be living there too.

Oh, yeah. I thought that went without saying.

I knew you'd like them. And that it'd take you less than a week to read them. See you Friday...
