This movie--I was told before, but just got around to watching it now--is really amazing.
You know that feeling you get when it's late afternoon and the sun is streaming in and you're listening to the Beatles and nothing is better in the world? This movie is that feeling.
And you know that feeling you get when it's dark, and you're dark, and you turn on Joplin and start crying before your head hits the pillow and before the guitar even hits those last first notes?
This movie is that; music is a drug; writing is a drug, maybe you don't need any more than that.
