I got a personalized rejection letter, at least. My first one!

I don't feel "yay" is quite the appropriate way to greet a rejection, but it's hopefully heartening that the publishers are at least acknowledging your existence. :)

Huh. I was gonna say "yay", but that's because I'm deep in the denial of "rejections=good!", and it's kind of tough to leave it. But yay about the personalized part, at least. :)

It's a good step; I think it's yay-worthy. Remember, established writers have wallpapered their houses with these (or at least claimed to be able to).

Well, way to go for doing more than I've ever done in the self-marketing department. A personalized rejection certainly sounds flattering given the prevalence of forms these days.

Congratulations! I've been keeping my and Lila's rejection letters on my wall. The idea is to eventually be able to paper the room with them. The personalized ones are so much the best, though. Yay!
