Weyrlady: The metaphor of blood-and-writing isn't mine, though I've used it before, in poems written during in highschool, and such. I was thinking of it mostly in the context of the movie watched Friday night, Peter Greenaway's The Pillow Book. (Squick note: I just looked at that page, and it had a little note, "ordering for Valentine's Day?" Anyone who orders that movie for their sweetie is one sick puppy.)
Raki: it wasn't really metonymy, I think. Ask me to explain sometime when you have a few spare hours. :)
Spooniest: I'd like to get together with Homasse, or really anyone. I love collaborative writing, and have several years' experience doing it. It has different joys than solo writing, but is good.

Thank you all.
