So, class was canceled. Bad, but good. Bad, 'cause it's my favorite class, though it's also my hardest. Good, 'cause I get time to work today, and maybe sleep later, instead of running about like a crippled rat on a wheel.

And Rush-that-Speaks and I were interviewed today for an article in one of the little local papers on ghosts on campus.
Interviewer: "So, what about this Thomas Person?" *holds open book on local ghosts*
Rush and I: "M. Carey Thomas?"
Rush: "Well, she founded the college, and is buried here. There's an eternally burning candle by her grave I've had to relight several times."
Me: "She was a brilliant woman."
Interviewer: "You're not scared of her ghost?"
Rush and I: "No...."

And when Boston people come down we shall now be able to take them to Cool Paul's new stand he's opening up in Reading Terminal Market after he leaves BMC Dining Services on Thursday. We're getting him a card.

Outside of card: Cute fuzzy animal saying, "We're going to be sorry to see such an intelligent, likeable, charismatic person leave."
Inside of card: "After all, there's so few of us left. Goodbye and good luck!"

More later after work is finished.

"Why no, we're not scared. She's a bit difficult at times, but after we had that little chat with her, everything has been fine. Of course the people that have brunch with her every week are on better terms with her, why don't you go talk to them? They're over there playing Quiddich."

Hee. Love Bryn Mawr, I do.

I did wonder what Cool Paul was doing after. Will have to come down indeed. How's somewhere around the second week in November for people?
