Short Anime Rambling

My friend Jen is currently watching the anime series Fruits Basket, which I have seen most of. I spent most of last night trying to convince her that the "little blobby thing" was indeed a chibi piece of sushi, with little to no success. She showed me some interesting and fun ebay Fruits Basket stuff, and so today I went to go search for Gensomadden Saiyuki stuff, out of sheer curiosity.

First off: the poster with Hakkai captioned "the truth behind the smile." (Just like that, with period and all) is chilling.

Second: does anyone have any idea why there would be about 10 people selling their copies of the Saiyuki 'Requiem' movie on DVD for under 10 dollars? Are they bootleg? What? It can't be the video quality...

In other news, my trusty phone broke the other day. I went to Staples and they didn't have any phone that I both wanted and could afford. I don't need a $200 multi line fax thingy with call waiting and semaphore flags, thank you very much!

The "little blobby thing" is an onigiri. I'm not certain whether or not that qualifies as sushi; perhaps someone more versed in that sort of thing can help me out.

Remember how each character (with the notable exception of Akito) has a symbol associated with them? Kyou is the cat, Yuki is the mouse, and so on. The onigiri is Tohru (remember the game she used to play in second grade?)
