Huh. That's funny. Several years ago, I read in the news that they were planning a Dark Crystal sequel, and they described something completely different. It was going to be fully computer-animated, and it was going to be set a thousand years before the first movie.

That makes me wonder... just how many times over the past decades have they told the news that they're planning a sequel, giving a different plot-summary each time? -_-

Sounds interesting, but there is a slight risk it could destroy a childhood memory I hold dear. Also, presumably no Skeksis, which will be sad.

Still, hopefully Fizzgig will still be around!

This would be something to look forward to, for me. I've heard a few different scenarios about ideas they had to revive Dark Crystal, but seeing a plot line like this would be cool, to me. (And I'll just try to ignore what Rai said about Fizgig.) ;)
