Ok, I thought that Tokai was just stressed after moving and that's why her skin was so pale, but as we came in today to the house after returning the moving truck we saw that she was shedding. I soaked her toes in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes and hopefully she will have all of them after this shed (for some reason leopard geckos tend to have problems shedding with their toes and sometimes their toe will come off with shedding). Now if I can only find her heat lamp...

Whew! When I saw the first line of this and the picture of her underneath, I panicked for a moment! This is good news though -- yay, shedding, and good luck with her Mighty Toes!

Miss you all already! ♥

So cute! Hope the shed goes well, have heard that if the warm water itself doesn't help, you can gently assist with a warm, wet washcloth. (I thought about getting geckos of my own before, and I am someone who does Research before this sort of thing.)

Wow, I can see how that would have been unsettling. I cross my fingers for her scaly toes. I miss you guys and it's good to read that you're getting established okay after that rocky move.

Cool picture! I hope your gecko gets through her shedding process okay and with her toes intact.

Awww, gecko! Cuteness.

Glad to know things are settling down, and that everyone, two-footed and four-footed, is okay. :)
