I know it's kind of the tail end of International Blogging Against Racism Week, but I wanted to point out a resouce I just found out about for queer folks of color in the Boston area. It looks like QWOC + Friends (Queer Women of Color) is having their QWOC week August 2nd to 9th with some awesome events.

It looks like there will be an art exhibit opening in Boston in conujunction with QWOC week August 3rd. Though I am busy that night and cannot go to the opening, I would like to see the exhibit (I am currently trying to figure out when it is running through, as the info is not on the website link, I don't use Facebook, and the gallery's website doesn't seem to mention the show). Does anyone want to come with me? I am free evenings of 8/5, 8/6, and 8/8.

In other news, I made two beaded pendants last evening, and started in on the large necklace I am making. Go, art!

I would love for you to come visit, but I'm not sure what I'll be doing in September. I really, *really* want to get this AmeriCorps job I'm applying for and it starts Sept. 1, but naturally, there are no guarantees. Could you maybe do the last week of August?
