algae suckers hang on the glass, eh? then you would have a literary device in your aquarium!

although, i also like the idea of a fish named kublai khan. perhaps better suited to a fiery beta.

Mine's named Boing. It seems to have worked -- it totally jinxed her for being the first fling-self-onto-the-floor casualty, but she's a calm bottom-dweller.

We've only ever had a single jumper out of our hundred or so fish ever to be in the tank, and that was a clown loach that got too lonely. So maybe Boing's even patrolling the others.
