The lobelia and nasturtiums are up, about two or three inches high now. Perhaps they'll bloom before the end of August.

The con was quite nice; I am thinking (madly) of running a spirituality track the next time I go.
Also saw some old and new friends; accidentally passed the Postfurries like ships in the night. Must write not only about books, but also about the experience of being an Old Fruit introducing two Young Nuts to the fandom.

The next few weekends are mad. I'm going to be in Philadelphia for the next few days; if you're in town and want to meet, call me or leave a note here. My schedule, relatively unstructured, may include such things as Aoi sushi, the Barnes Foundation, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art (I want to see Dali's stuff in person).

The weekend after that is Readercon. I will be reading "Love Story" as part of the Mythic/Jabberwocky reading. Time and day are TBA; I'll post when I know anything.

I've been reading British humor and books about visual information; I've been trying to find a new roommate (yes, that's right, five new roommates in succession in 6 months).

I've been doing a lot of writing (one story just resolved its viewpoint a few days ago, and the plot of the Fey Novel is (un)ravelling itself up nicely in my head; I've also got a mostly-researched entry for the Surreal Botany project from Two Cranes Press). Unfortunately, Wikipedia and other online resources, while fascinating, are not giving me the information I need; I think I may need to spend some quality time at the library next Friday evening (otherwise my schedule is booked!) just to get it done with.

When I'm not writing I'm mostly meeting up with friends from here or elsewhere, thinking about what I want to do with my life, and sestinas. These things are not unrelated.
