Computer Update

So, the partition with my new story on it still seems dead in the water. I've been doing story research yesterday and today and hoping that somebody will come up with a grand plan to save that partition, but as time goes by I get less and less thrilled about recovering it. Any last ideas before I try and take this thing into data recovery (god that's gonna hurt, goodbye money for lip piercing that I wanted, or really any other random thing).

Good news:
- Have health insurance
- Have contacted doctor re: possible hypothyroid and am going to return a call
- Have referral to psychotherapist for depression meds, because I want to get this done ASAP
- Having interesting discussions of gender on internet
- Slept through full night and woke up at reasonable hour, something which I had not done since late June due to sickness/recovery/sickness/recovery cycle and then breakup
- Got info on Indiana Absentee ballot
- Got cheap jump rope and barbell from sports store to continue special operation "being less flabby," which is the one long-term thing that I planned for this year that has gone right

Bad news:
- Useful archive of computer still borked
- Referral to psychotherapist $250 for first appointment and is $75-$200 thereafter, health insurance not accepted
- Regular therapist also does not take my new health insurance
- Some people on the internet are wrong
- Still cannot figure out how to get AFS + Keberos working on ubuntu to update webiste, despite reading various tutorials
- Since new story is on borked partition, cannot use research and discussion that I have been doing, except in most general way possible, unless I want to restart story again
