Today I finished another ten pages of thesis and sent it off; it is the first ten pages of thesis I have written where I was unquibblingly happy with all the poems and knew that I didn't need to go back and make stylistic changes for the revision. This despite the fact that large portions of it were written in Russian, a language which I have not formally studied for over a year now.
I also went to the bookstore and got some books with my parent's Christmas gift card: a hardcover overview of the Arts and Crafts movement, and a design magazine that talks a lot about color palettes.
Also I watched a few more episodes of Getbackers, and had real food (Chinese) courtesy of Rush-that-Speaks. Thank you!
On a slightly sadder note, I just now noticed that there are little nicks in the stone on my necklace; but seeing as how I've had the stone since at least sixth grade and these are the first nicks, that's good. I just worry I'll drop it someday, and it'll break.
But I also finished all the hair on the Falkor drawing. On to scales! (I am keeping scans of all the major stages in the drawing process so I can post a tutorial later. Yay).
