Is it possible that a comic strip can be a meme, a mind-infecting idea?

Making one wait for it in weekly installments like getting some kind of mental hit?

I'd say yes. Damn, but this comic is good. The art's good. The way that the box-lines on the page are ignored, or twisted, or used to devious and entirely unexpected ends, is good. The storyline....aah, the storyline. Start with a whole bunch of setting-the-characters-on-fire, and gradually transform it into something beautiful and wonderful and strange and sad.
