May Day Goodness
30/4/03 16:54First, I've got the King Arthur Play written at last. It's a short little gem of a thing, if I do say so myself. Five actors. No costume changes. Ten minutes. And manages to do everything I wanted it to do and more.
The title of this Masterwork?
King Arthur Play * May 4, 2003 *
The Condensed, we Really Were Trying to Make this Under Five Minutes Originally, King Arthur Legend, Abridged. (And Edited for Time and to Fit your Screen). Not Endorsed by Sir Thomas Mallory. Grateful Acknowledgement Made to Divers Books by Miss Lois McMaster Bujold. Printed in the Carpenter Computing Lab Ltd. Co. Esquire and Tea Purveyors to Pembroke East 218.
Yes, that's the whole title.
I've sent out the activities email. Now all I have to do is go to dinner and wave the script around and hope people show up at rehersal on Friday evening. At 6. *pokes her fellow Mawrters*
I hate to say this, but I'm really annoyed at the incompetence and rudeness of the Traditions Mistresses this year in not sending out a "put your Mayday activity on the flyer" email. To anyone.
Here's the most current May Day Schedule that I've been able to find. There isn't going to be a DoubleStar play (courtesy of the noted lack in emails), so I'm just sticking the KA play there instead.
Note for Sei: There's kind of a Mordred. He's only a baby. A small, black-furred, floppy-eared, labrador-retriever-looking kind of a baby. The real Mordred is there in spirit. I promise.
If anyone needs floor crash space I still have a floor upon which anyone is welcome to crash. Many alums coming. Happy.
(I also got the big paper done. Yay.)
