Happy New Year!

So, I'm off to a cook-your-own-food New Year's party in a few minutes. (My contribution? Peanut Butter Cookies.) But I'm doing well. Went on a run with the dog through unbroken three-feet of snow. Was good.

Spending more time with friends than family recently..this is very very good and has recentered me mentally...I was getting a little snippish and didn't really like it.

More good News: My church isn't going away yet; the denomination wrote a kind of nice note to the rest of the congregation offering help and also advice...which was good advice, though bluntly spoken.

I have a new pair of chopsticks, red with a gold star design.

And now my sister tells me I must leave. More on the LotR movie later.
