Yay!

I have decided what I am doing for the summer. I am staying at Bryn Mawr and working at the Visual Resources Dept for the whole summer. This is wierd because I won't be at home. I will miss my family and friends and church and pets and annual going-to-the-renfaire-day. However.

I got a raise the other day, so I am now getting more money. Even before summer wages, which are almost a whole dollar higher, start.

Yesterday night was good - I slept and didn't remember whatever it was that I might or might not have dreamed.

If I stay here over the summer, not only do I get a room, and board for weekdays, but it's a sure job, I don't have to go home and call temp agencies all the time. This looks good on a resume. My parents and friends will probably visit from time to time, and I can take the weekend off and go places. And I will have massive amounts of time to dedicate to writing. Chapters of novel, anyone?

And if all goes well Arc might come to visit and we could go to Anthrocon. Yay! Though I have to figure out the logistics of that...don't want the parents showing up the same weekend as Anthrocon. And with their track record of what constitutes "early notice..." ;P
