Life is Good
24/10/01 00:34My computer is finally working correctly. All my files are recovered and I think I finally beat the internet problem into submission.
The weather here is gorgeous. It got cold for a while, and then it got warm again, and sunny, and all the leaves changed. It's a week of Indian Summers. Couldn't have asked for better.
The Halloween Brunch is this Sunday. It's going to be a great deal of fun. Now, if only I could decide what to wear.
I admit it. I'm addicted to Photoshop - even though I have Photoshop LE, the cheap version they've replaced with a new, equally cheap product. And more to the point,I've also picked up an addiction to Super BladePro.
I was playing around the other day - playing, like other people might play solitaire or soccer - with these two programs. And I came up with a very simple, but classy looking, set of graphics for a website. I call it a webset. I was almost sad that I'd already made the graphics for my page. I saved the file.
And then I thought, "what good is it doing sitting on your hard drive?" I made a decision: I'm going to put these eye candies up for free, so other people can make websites with them. I have to finish this first one, then I'll post it on my site and see what happens. Ah, I so love contributing to the "gift economy." (That is a very ugly website, but very concise.)
