I didn't know that Robert Asprin was a Dorsai Irregular. His 'Myth Adventures' books with Phil Foglio were the first graphic novels I ever read, back in the late eighties, and made a huge impression on my young self.

It's a group of SF fans who also provide security to cons when need be; they're based on the Dorsai, a race of humans raised only to fight, from a novel.

Right, I know who they are, my confusion was more what "good cause" you were talking about, and why you posted the link.
