Back at College

So, I'm back at college. Boston was much fun, and a welcome break from life in the hometown drudge. My friends (I don't know how they managed to do this, as they're going to grad school and surely have less money than I) bought me the Petshop of Horrors DVD for Christmas, a happy gift which I much enjoy and plan on making some kind of backgrounds from screenshots.

I am enjoying the two classes I have had so far. Form of the City seems by far one of the more interesting classes I've taken. I spent an absolutely obscene amount of money on textbooks today, and that was without buying things like the Bible and buying all the used books I could possibly find. It's horrible. I did get a check today, but $40 barely makes a dent in edited out for sanity purposes.

In other news: it is snowing. This is happy.

I am thinking of making a webdesign company, tentative name of "websushi," and currently have a rather nifty logo. I am trying to get the menu bar to do that thing that when you pass your mouse over the graphic, parts of it turn different colors. So far I have figured out how to do this with regular links, but not imagemap graphics. If someone could help me, it would be appreciated.

I have been exercising ten minutes every morning, and doing work ahead of time, and getting breakfast. This is good for me, and I think will help me in the long run. I am not exactly the most in-shape person at the moment, and eating something in the morning may keep me from eating too much at lunch.

And I have ideas for writing and have caught up on my online writing-group activities. There was something else I was going to ramble on about, but I forgot what it was. Perhaps later my brain will kick-start itself.
