I am going to Boston this weekend to see Syona Keleste and L'Ignota in Iolanthe. Which I still cannot pronouce correctly.

And also just be somewhere not here.

Sei has badgered me into checking with her weekly about job progress. This is good.

I have just finished Sorcery and Cecilia, or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot, by Caroline Stevermer and Paticia Wrede. I would like to meet them both someday, as Caroline seems as if she would be neat, and Ms. Wrede encouraged me to write merely by her occasional presence at the AOL Fantasy Writers' bulletin board, not to mention handing out good advice to my fifteen-year-old self.

It was very good, and I loved the bit in the back where they talked about how the story-by-letter had got a life of its own. Rush-that-Speaks, I am bringing it up for you to read, as the dedication is to Ellen Kushner, Georgette Heyer, Tolkien, and Jane Austen. It is light and witty without being fluff; you don't have to think while reading it but it rewards doing so. Imagine!

Ah, you are? Excellent! I may be too busy to stand still, much less to talk, but still yay.

eye-oh-LANN-thi? rhymes with I-grow-FAN-tree. Not sure what a fan tree would be . . .

Ooh, I read that in high school and loved it."Your hair will stay up all evening." *poof* I wish I had that spell! *grin*

Good

I read it about a month ago, actually, and it made me very happy-- it was recommended to me at Worldcon, and the rec was solid. Did you know that the sequel just came out?

And yay we get to see you this weekend!
