Alive, Still

eredienHi everyone. I'm still here, really. I don't check email as regularly when I'm on break, though I have more time to reply, so it might take a few days for me to get around to reading messages but you'll get a lot back. I check LJ every few days.
Had a nice Christmas; got perhaps the most fun Christmas present ever yet recieved in the person of a three-headed dragon marionette. (Thanks, Evelyn!)
Doing craft projects and my laundry took up a good deal of today. I'm almost done with all of those.
Went with my mom to see Mona Lisa Smile the other day. It was a surreal experience; every time I saw something that made me instantly homesick for Bryn Mawr (hoop races!)I would then see something else (brick architecture) that would throw me for a loop and make me remember, "oh, yes, this is Wellesley in the 50's. And a movie." It's a bit predictable, but still worth going to see, especially if you're a bit bored or need a breather from travel.
Syona Keleste, remind me to tell you the anecdote about the hot plate when I call in a few days.
