'Yappari' is the preferred Romanization, though yours works OK given the interchangeability of 'p' and 'b' and 'v' in Japanese.
The one I'm really fond of is French, 'l'esprit d'escalier', or 'the spirit of the staircase', which means that feeling you get when somebody completely outmaneuvers you in a conversation and any time from a couple of hours to a couple of days later you suddenly realize what the exactly perfect and witty thing to say to them that would have fixed everything would have been, if only you had thought of it at the time, but it is now too late.
