It's a shame that Omni magazine's brave venture into cyberspace ended too soon, because no one had figured out yet that sites that were only supported by ads didn't work, but they still have a lovely archive of chat transcripts. Authors and scientists and musicians and all other sorts of interesting people falling out of the woodwork and bumping into each other and going, "hullo. Fancy meeting you here, at this strange crossroads." Fascinating stuff.
And I shall now go back to paper-writing.
