Yeah, but the "being a merfolk" fantasy splits into so many interesting sub-kinks! For instance, there are some pretty gorgeous latex fishtails out there, with the convenient side effect of being just like leg binders...

(Flirting with you? Pfft, don't be silly. I just want one of the damn things for MYSELF! *crafty feline grin* )

Of course that does raise the issue of how catgirls would relate to being half-fish. There would have to be constant reminders-- perhaps a little safety decal stuck to her tail reading "DIS U. U NOT FUD." =^__^=

In all seriousness, though, I'm kinda surprised this isn't a more common kink, in virtuality or real-life. I mean, water is such a strong metaphorical concept to start with, and sensations of flowing and floating and diving... Swimming is potentially a pretty sensual thing in its own right!

But yeah, not really into mermaids or mermen for their own sake. Too many... fishy bits, and if I want scales, I'll stick to dragons. *grins implishly at nobody in particular*
