Dreamed again of Bryn Mawr. It was Hell Week: a blindfolded transfer student dropped a half-empty carton of milk into my hand and her heller, guarding the door to Thomas for the annual donor banquet, chuckled. The pavement was all chalked with runes. The lion with the lantern, in 3/4 relief along the side door to the cloisters, smiled at me, as he did anyone else who passed that door, his stone mane carved roiling wild about his head.

Dear God, shouldn't this have stopped by now? Am I doomed to dream of this occasionally, unpredictably, forever, and in such detail, for part of my inscape? It hurts!

Oh Bryn Mawr...

*hugs*

We miss you, but hopefully, the visit will clear things up?

We all have something in our past... or our dreams... that haunts us, something that we wish would just go away. It takes time, though, and sometimes a bit more; revisit the moment that haunts you, analyse it, for yourself, and try to see why it bothers you so much and what you can do to change that. In the end, that's what it takes for some of us. Until we deal with the pain and/or fear of a particular moment, we exist in that moment... making it hard to continue to live each moment of our life thereafter.

And remember, if you need help or just someone to talk to about things, there are those of us here for you. *snugs*

Hugs?

I have vague ideas of suggestions, but they haven't formed coherent thoughts yet.

Hang in there.

You may continue to dream of Bryn Mawr occasionally, but I think eventually it will stop hurting.

*hugs* Hopefully it will eventually remain beautiful but lose the pain. If you ever need to talk, you know where to find me.
