So, Esgalaith's family volunteered to bring me to England until Janruary free-of-charge and with pocket money if I would clean their house. Not a bad deal, said I, and proceeded to think about it until the world crashed down around my ears.

In the end, I realized that by the time I got my passport (6 wks) it would be mid-December anyway, when the following things would basicially have been decided:
1.) If Syona Keleste would be going back to BMC, and, therefore, if I was rooming with her, or...
2.) If I would be taking her spot in Gerbilhouse for a while, or...
3.) If I would have found some small room-arrangement of my own.

Any way, that would have been definitively decided by that time, as would have...

4.) What kind of job I will be having in Boston.

Therefore, since I cannot speed my passport and would be getting time off at Christmas anyway, I have decided on the following course of action:

1.) Keep looking for apartment arrangements of varying types.
2.) Get a full time Boston job, which starts in February, before I go to England.
3.) Quit job at home for opportunity in Boston
4.) Go to England over Christmas
5.) Come back from England sometime around Janruary 21st
6.) Spend rest of Janruary packing, moving, and unpacking
5.) Start new job in February

I don't know why I didn't think of Christmas before. Probably because the idea had not stewed enough in my brain. I will miss my sister and Christmas church service, but that is ok.

While technically I could get my passport in two weeks, I don't want to: it's silly to quit my job when in essence I only have two months left anyway, and could be making money instead of spending it. If I quit tomorrow, I would be only coming back to the US jobless and apartmentless, because it would be truly impossible to search for those things overseas. I think my plan is much better.

I may or may not be visiting Boston this weekend. If I do not visit this weekend maybe the next.

Amusing job story. Cut because people are getting sick of hearing about my job. )
