Soundtracks to Life
10/11/02 23:33So, I was sitting here thinking that maybe I should write a journal entry about how my life doesn't really suck that much, and how I'd forgot for a while one of my life mottoes:
I can only do what I can do, so if I try my hardest it will have to be enough.
After all, I got work done today. I sucessfully DM'ed. I sung. I talked with friends and loved ones. I tried to help people.
I wondered if I ought to write about this, and the Beatles song "Blackbird" came on the tape player.
It's one of those songs that--for some reason--has always been on the soundtrack to my life. I listen to it, and I either cry or laugh, but it's always there, and it's always important.
So I started up livejournal. I don't want to forget that life is there, and wonderful.
