...I want to see if it's frozen over yet.
So, I come home. And my room is cleaned. And there are new pictures, framed, on the walls of the den. And a shelf I have been asking for to hold my small collection of seashells is installed on the wall with the shells artfully arranged upon it. And - wonder of wonders - my mom and a family friend came by and hung up the dust ruffle and curtians in my room. I'd forgot I'd been waiting for said dust ruffle and curtains, since it was about ten years ago I was promised them.
Trip home uneventful. Tomorrow seeing friends and going to church. Thank God. (Take this literally.) Going to flesh out D&D campaign this week once I get a DM guide and probably write a bit of a play I've been working on. Will get to go computer-shopping with/for my sister. Being home is actually being good to me. And I don't even think I'm saying that only because it's air-conditioned in here.
People who are going to VA: there are logistical problems, for those of you who don't know about them already. I shall try to call people concerned tomorrow (Gaudior and Rush-That-Speaks, Sei, and the IW) sometime. Though I don't know when and am expecting it to be very crowded at the home of Gaudior and Rush and hence will not speak long.
Eventually I shall get around to telling my parents about Arc this week, too. This will be a good thing, I think. Yay.
