Does any current Mawrter know:

1.) The current state of Elsinore/the Backsmoker Diaries, et. al? I am feeling nostalgic, since it's apparently the 20th anniversary of the thing. I hope people are writing still.

2.) The current Royal Knight? I found a Mayday Gift up here the other day which needs to go to them.

this is rediculous, coming from an alum older than you who lives just as far from mawr as you do.
however, this is what i know:

it's dead. hate to say it, but true. [livejournal.com profile] doneril tried.

[livejournal.com profile] wheredragon knighted [livejournal.com profile] rabidfangrrl last may day. but i don't think she ever visits *that* smoker. don't know who/if she's planning to pass it off to. i personally think it's rapidly losing meaning as the connection to elsinore itself dies. { / curmudgen }

try checking with [livejournal.com profile] doneril or [livejournal.com profile] prydera .... they might know.

gallian.

The last I heard from [livejournal.com profile] prydera (as of maybe a month ago?) was that there were no books nor any diary physically in the smoker. I believe also that [livejournal.com profile] rabidfangrrl had the books and is not at BMC this semester. That [livejournal.com profile] doneril might have been interested in writing, were she physically able to do so but she isn't. And that the general sense was that if I bought books and left them there, with the "If I leave them, they will write" idea might maybe possibly work but probably not.

It's dead?

Elsinore's dead?

HOW?!?!?

I am not kidding when I write this. I think a piece of me just died. I'm heartbroken. I just... oh, God.

Physicaly incapable of writing. Like, less capable of writing than I am. I suggested the type-and-paste method, but at the time there were no books on campus into which to paste.

Who else was still writing last year? Are any of them on campus?
