More Manga!
Okay. This is a long one, and has both Page 4 of Minoru Ota's Werewolf Girl and Moo's most recent Chibi-manga! Yay!
Mika: Hi, Kimiko!
Kimiko: Hello, Mika!
Kimiko: We're going to be late if we don't hurry!
...
Mika: Oh, no! The bell already rang!
Mika like sports commentary: She squeezes through...and she's safe!
Kimiko: We made it!
Masato: You were always perfectly punctual at the beginning...
Mika: Masato-kun!
Masato: Hey! Hiya, Mika-chan!
Translation Note: - Kimiko's "we made it!" is really "to us it was carried by vehicle," which sounds a bit like a stuffy 18th-century British novel if you translate it as "we carried the day!" as I think it's equivalent to. I guess it must be colloquial; I just translated it as best I could.
- Yes, the people who originally translated this into Russian kept all the Japanese honorifics. They transliterate suprisingly well.
