Things I Love about Canaday

1.) The fact that you really can find the book you need in the to-be-shelved area if you look hard enough.

2.) The "avant-garde" bathroom performance art in the grout between the tiles on the first floor.

3.) The fact that when flipping through a dissertation written on Bryn Mawr's traditions, I found the following phrase, complete with pencilied-in commentary as below.

"...One traditional task assigned to underclassmen for Hell Week is the counting of holes in the walls in Erdman, a dormitory designed in the modern architectural style by the famous late [not nearly late enough] architect Louis Khan."

1.) You have much better library luck than I do, then; I've never successfully found something on that shelf that I was looking for... I have found plenty of random useful books, though.

2.) Are you referring to the amazing bathroom graffiti in Canaday? I'm still fond of this example, on the third floor:
Person A writes: "What is the ascent?"
Person B writes: "Spiritual, or Everest?"
Person C writes: "They're the same thing - if you get that, you're there!"

3.) That's just beautiful... and so true.
