Moving & c.

So we will be moving on May 16th or possibly May 15th and will in any case be in Indiana by May 17th.

Any socialization for the next half-month will likely be done during packing if you haven't set up alternate plans with me yet. I am actually trying to slow down on the socializing at this point.

My maskmaking internship is also going well, which is the other thing I have been doing. Alas I now need to figure out how to make bird feathers without using real bird feathers or sculpting hundreds of feathers (too time-consuming). Also for those of you who live in the Boston area and like puppetry or film, there is a free and fantastic exhibit of Jim Henson's work in the National Heritage Museum in Lexington. There is free parking and public transit access. I want to see Henson's movie "the Cube" now and anyone who finds out stuff about it for me will get virtual cupcakes in their heart.

Also the bike ride to and from the nutritionist's was vastly more helpful than any actual advice given to me by said nutritionist. who made me want to punch her in the face. But the bike ride was great!

It appears to be on YouTube in color, which impresses me, because the only version I've ever seen was scratchy black-and-white. I will have to check this out myself when I return from my voice lesson.

(I'd hoped that the museum would be screening it, but I think that'll have to wait for an existentialist film festival, or something.)

I would swear he and I and Nick have all sat around a computer watching it already! That and Henson's other weird little art film "Timepiece".

I am an excellent packer, or chatter while you pack. Let me know when is good and I could come by and hang out, and maybe if you I'll bring cupcakes or something?

If you just want small feather-like things, I find the seeds on cat-tails are pretty feathery. There should still be some from last year hanging around Fresh Pond.
